Hidden within Newport’s Fifth Ward, our clients took advantage of family land to create this shingle style bungalow. The “shadow lined” entry overhang strengthens the cottage character of this easy-living home.  Custom wave patterned shingles add a hint of coastal flare and reinforce the owner’s connection to the sea. The interiors boast numerous reclaimed character elements such as wood beams, planks and newel posts; tastefully brought together by the owner herself, a seasoned interior designer.
